FAQs
  • Each game download has a different set of system requirements. Please refer to the game's page to find the specific requirements for the game you are considering. In particular if you are using an Apple Mac computer, please make sure that the game you are considering is Mac-compatible as many are not.
  • Most games follow a simple installation process: click on the "download” link or icon from the game's main page to download the game's installer file, which will be an *.exe file (Windows) or *.sit file (Mac), directly onto your hard drive. Please make sure that you click on ‘Save’ and not ‘Run’ when prompted. Please make a note of where the installer will be saved. To install your game, wait until the entire installer file has finished saving to your hard drive. Locate the *.exe or *.sit installer file that you just downloaded, and double click on it. Follow the instructions as they are given.
  • Most of our games/software follow a two-step download process. Before downloading please ensure that you check whether the game/software is compatible for your operating system. In the first instance you need to download from our service an installer. This is not the game/software itself, but a small application ("exe" file) which will manage the download of the files corresponding to your game/software. If you have purchased a game/software from us but did not see any downloads taking place, the first thing to do is to check is the installer was downloaded or not. Check your browser's download history and look for an "exe" file with the game/software's name. If you see it, click on the link to view the file in the relevant folder. If you do not see it, you can re-download the installer from our service. Go to your "My Downloads" page (after you have logged in) and look for the download icon next to the game/software's name. Once you have the installer file saved onto your hard drive, double-click on the Installer file to begin downloading the game/software itself, and follow the prompts.
  • There is a time limit of 21 days. A game/software must be downloaded and installed within 21 days of having been purchased on our site. When you confirm your purchase, you first download and install an installer file onto your computer. This file will then manage the download of the game/software itself. This needs to happen within 21 days of the original purchase.
  • The serial number for the game/software you have downloaded can be found as part of the files that were downloaded with the game/software. Please visit the folder where these files have been saved and look for a serial number as a file name. The serial number is also generally included in the email that we have sent you as a confirmation of your download. Please retrieve the corresponding email and use the serial number as presented on the email. Should you not have a serial number as a result of the suggestions above, please write to us including a copy of the confirmation email we sent you for your download (these details will help us answer your query more quickly).
  • When you purchase a game/software from us, an installer file in *.exe or *.sit is downloaded onto your computer. When you double-click on the installer file, the download of the game/software itself will take place. If the download is interrupted for any reason, just double-click again on the installer file. The download of the game/software will resume where it previously stopped.
