- Can I transfer a track I have downloaded onto other devices?
- Can I hear a sample of the track before I download it?
- No, you cannot at this stage. Apple mobile devices will only connect with the iTunes Store. You can still play one of our music tracks on your Apple devices. You need to transfer the tracks from your computer onto your iTunes directory. Depending on your system you may be given this as a choice when you download the tracks, if not you will have to transfer them into the iTunes directory after they have downloaded and saved onto your default music catalogue. Simply run an iTunes sync as normal to add the tracks to your mobile device.
- There are several possible reasons for this. In the first instance, please try the following: 1 - Check in the music library of your computer, under "My Music" or similar. 2 - Check in the "Downloads" folder of your computer, as often web browsers store all downloads into this as a default folder. 3 - Run a search of your computer using the track title or artist name as a keyword. 4 - Check the download history of your browser (usually under settings > downloads), if the track has been downloaded it will appear here. If it does not show, no download has taken place. 5 - Retrieve the "download url" on the email we sent you to confirm your purchase. Copy and paste the url it in your browser to start a new download. If after this you are still unable to locate your track, please contact us and we will investigate the situation.
- You must have a PC or Mac to download the tracks, and a music player capable of playing mp3 files.
- Downloads are in mp3 format, virtually indistinguishable from CD-quality audio. The sampling rate on music tracks offered on our service ranges between 192 and 300 MBps.
- When you purchase an album, you need to use a "download manager" file, which will manage the download of the different tracks on the album. Download the file onto your computer is very simple, just follow the prompts that you are given. Once the downloader is in place, the tracks will automatically download, one by one. Subsequent album downloads will re-use the same downloader so do not remove it from your computer. Some browsers settings do not allow the downloader to function properly. In that case, follow the link to the "basic downloader" and download the tracks one by one manually, by clicking on the "download" link next to each file in the album list.
- Please follow the following steps to resolve your problem: STEP 1: Check your firewall If you have a personal firewall or are behind a corporate firewall, you may experience problems either downloading the track(s) or acquiring a license to play the track. You can try temporarily disabling your firewall or speaking to your company's IT support to see if they can resolve this. STEP 2: Make sure that Active X is enabled. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level, and enable Active X controls. STEP 3: If you are still problems, please email us with the details of the download and the difficulties that you are experiencing.
- At this stage, no. You need to download your chosen tracks onto a PC or Mac, and then transfer them onto your portable device. Music is downloaded in mp3 format which is widely accepted by mobile devices, including most mobile phones.
- Yes, as mp3 files they will work on Apple devices, although they might require conversion into an Apple format, depending on your device.
- Yes, you can. Music is downloaded in mp3 format, meaning without any restriction on its utilisation by the rightful user. Once downloaded on your PC or Mac, you can transfer or duplicate the mp3 file onto any mp3-compatible device (mobile phone, mp3 player...). There is no limit to the number of time you can do that. Please remember, the music track you have downloaded is for your personal enjoyment, and it cannot be passed on to another user (even free of charge).
- Indeed, you can. You can listen to a 30-second sample of every music track. Just click the Play button to the right of the title.
